Just a reminder, I'll be at the Three Tuns to chat Ghent after the AGM. I'll bring my laptop, and maps of France and Belgium. I'll be buying track tickets definitely. And looking to chat on hotels.

We are up and running! I've now booked tickets for 10 people on Friday and Saturday nights - the max you can buy on a card. Tim D and Stef D are finding out if their better halves are going - and they will book their tickets separately.
Saturday's seats are the two rows of five here on Block D, rows 8 and 9;
Friday's tickets are somewhere very similar.
The tickets are approx £17.50 each, so £35.00 for both nights. I won't ask you for the cash until I've seen it leave my account. It's not that I don't trust a slightly cranky Belgian online ticket facility, but I think it's operated by the mice out of Bagpuss.
Shortly going to give out details for the hotel I think is best
You can get mega-bargain hotels in Calais, like the Kyriad. But the Hotel Meurice is the nice central part and half decent, for just a few quid more. It boasts safe, secure cycle parking.
I'm sharing a superior room with Robbie, working out 103.70EUR [approx £85.00] so approx £42.50 each [exc. breakfast].
I've also booked Geoff in a single room, working out 93.00EUR [approx £76.00] [exc. breakfast].
Were in. I've booked track tickets for me, Sarah, Stef and Jane. i think in the row in front of the CCA block so no throwing popcorn!
i also booked a hotel room at the Ibis i have been to before, but have just noticed that this is the Ibis centrum St Baarfs (appropriate name after a night on the Duval) rather than the Ibis centrum opera where the rest are. oops. don't suppose it really matters. the opera is a bit nearer the track, the st baarfs has a nicer view out of the window.
I've bought 10 track tickets, for Friday and Saturday evening. But I won't ask you for the money until I've seen the funds leave my bank account. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
Martin, i have booked my room already. i will see tonight if i can change my booking to 2 singles beds, unless you would like to share a double bed................
Will you be riding, if so we could share a room in Calias.
Gavin, wrong Martin, it' Martin L who has booked the tickets. I will pass on sharing a double bed though. I was not planning to ride, will train or ferry/drive.
Chaps. The track ticket bureau have made the transaction - so time to pay up. I'll let you know when the tickets arrive through the post.
Also, Geoff and Robbie, the Ghent ibis hotel has taken their money too. I think the Calais hotel we'll pay when we arrive. I'll let you know if not the case.
Martin H - £35 Scouse - £35 Geoff - £158 Gavin - £35 Phil K - £35 Adam C - £35 Robbie - £91 [Robbie, a bit less because I owed you an Ayrton from last week] Mark B - £35
I'm not screaming for the cash - but if you'd like to get it done, email me for my account number/sort code to make an internet balance transfer: martin@ccashwell.com
Or, I can see you for a pint in The Parcel Yard in Kingsx or Look Mum No Hands in the next month or so.
Or you can post a cheque snailmail styley. Email me for address martin@ccashwell.com

im up for this but will be driving there see you at the AGM
Mark
Looks like the AGM/pub this Thurs will be a good place to chat about all this. We'll book the track tickets.
I'll likely booking Ghent and Calais accommodation then too - whilst the prices are so cheap.
I don't mind being the track ticket buyer. I'd prefer a balance transfer.
Hotels? It might be easier to individually book - find a room buddy if you're going for a twin room to halve costs - and all that.
We could do a lot on the AGM. It's easy over the web.

Check out a very young Cav back in 2007. Note the derny rider celebrates with him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijICtnzyF9s
GHENT HOTEL
Ibis Gent Centrum Opera
http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-1455-ibis-gent-centrum-opera/index.shtml
I'm sharing a twin room with Robbie, working out 149.00EUR [approx £122.00] for both nights in total, approx £61.00 each total [exc. breakfast].
I've also booked Geoff in a single room, working out 144.00EUR [approx £118.00] for both nights in total [exc. breakfast].
Fri 23rd Nov and Sat 24th Nov.
As you can see - it's really worth buddying up to save on beer money.
And for those thinking of cycling to Dover/Calais the Thurs 22nd

Touring bike on a budget? I've found this brand of pannier rack that fit on to any road bike http://www.carradice.co.uk/index.php?page_id=category&category_id=35
Gavin
I'd prefer either an Internet transfer first, or a posted cheque.
If you're using the Internet, please put your name down as reference so I know who it is. Ta.
