  • Hi Shaun,

Yes, i could do with a marshal on the junction with the A1198 and someone to run the results board at the HQ. Im hoping to borrow a projector so we can use the timing programme like last year, failing that it will be a big bit of paper job.

First rider off is 9.00, village hall open from 8.00
  • I'll do the A1198 marshal post if you like. Should I come to the village hall first?
  • Ace, yes, ill see you at guilden village hall about 8.30 and give you a hi viz vest.
    Many Thanks

    phil

You of all people should know i am not a t.t.man i am only helping out as many of our top guy's are away
ie skelders , mc, to name but 2 i have only ever done our own 25 tt never done a 10 tt in my life.

The time keepers would have gone home by the time i hit the finish line, thats why i am releasing my brakes and sticking to your rear wheel for a tow all the way round,i might even drive over like you and save some energy.

    see ya sunday

    strappy.
  • bon chance, to CCA riders and organisers for the IC25 Sunday. Smash and grab a load of points
    Lee
  • I'm in - not sure how i'll do as i'm normally dead after the 10mile TT!

I'll also make a cake and send that up with David - any requests?

    EmmaK
  • Great, you will love it! can i vote for a victoria sponge?
  • Whoop whoop, we're gonna have a load of cca riders...... ;-)
  • How many riders do we need to get off to get max points for turning up?
  • i rode the course on Sunday and apart from a few potholes coming into Wendy and the bends here it is in pretty good shape ;)
  • With a limited entry from IRC at the moment it looks like the first 8 from each club will score. Easily within your reach James.

To date Beds has 16 entries and the magnificent CCA is just 1 behind, with 15.

C'mon riders, we need u too. And I've entered, so I pretty much guarantee you won't be the slowest :)
  • Tim you are very kind but this year i have gone backwards and many have stepped up their game magnificently and tis they who will be bringing home the bacon! i am only going for "training purposes"

Are our juniors allowed to enter or is there a minimum age?
  • minimum age to ride solo would be 12. Other than that its open to anyone that has a bike. Im not sure what the juniors are up to this weekend but if they don't ride it will be because they are riding something more important..Nationals, regionals, tour de france,..something like that.
  • This will be my 1st 25 so I will be applying 100% for the club :-) not sure what to expect......let's hope the weather is kind, that would b a start, would b a bonus to equal or beat the beds turn out !!!!
  • Ok i'm in and booked.

    See you Sunday
  • Well done Andy,

By the way, i forgot to mention that the IC25 also incorporates the CCA 25 mile champs. So the first CCA rider wins the 25 mile cup.
  • going to do some negotiating with the boss and see if i can't come along :-) not quite sure what time i'll be able to muster though!!
  • Great, ill pencil you in.
  • thanks Tim, having trouble registering?!
  • all booked in :o)
  • Yay..... :-)
  • I've just found out I'm going to be around Sunday so I've added myself to the list. That makes 20 from CCA.

    Darren

Here's wishing you sunshine and legs like springs
  • Is it too late for me to enter; going to see how the shoulder holds out?
  • No, just turn up and sign on at the bottom of the sheet and take a number. about 57 i think.
  • Well done club, you were all brilliant. In the end we got pipped again but it was very close. Great stuff Nigel, a short 58 around there is very very good and congratulations on the win. Emma was first lady, a super achievement as she had to mend a puncture. Great turnout and hope you all enjoyed it.

Thanks to Lindsey and Shaun for marshalling, David and Geoff for starting, Sarah for the tea shop and James for the scoreboard. Also thanks to Carolyn, Emma and Sarah for the cakes, £60 was raised, plus around £100 from entries. Lovely.

  • Thanks for the great event - really well organised and a super turnout. Looking down the list there are some good times and just a few seconds here and there between places; it is was pretty close in the end.
