Remember Richard M said the latest criterium route application was to go right from exiting the Tuns, past the Museum and the Bushel & Strike.

To keep the spirit of this we would therefore follow a clockwise direction, but then need to exit the Bushel's car park by turning left and towards the Rose & Crown and back around to the Tuns.

  • Can stick to sausage and chips?
  • Cap'n has mentioned chips and ham butties to keep us going.

Will these be handed out in musettes after every lap?

    Vegetarians offered egg butties instead?

    Primes on offer?

    So many variables......

To make it clear, this is a pub circuit on foot and will not involve drinking and riding bikes.

Riding a bike under the influence on a public road is illegal and not to be condoned by this club.

    Be careful out there.

  • Looks like Mordor is back
Safety announcements required for the hard of thinking
you boys should try getting a life

I assume the pictures of acceptable cliques drinking will be removed from the site
    including ones on bikes

  • Ahoy (plain) Cap'n

Have you any further thoughts re the date for the Ashwell Crawl?

30th May could be tricky for me as I have the Chiltern 100 on 1st June.... A different type of crawl with lots of different drinks!

Depends what you mean by 'regular' -

    noun
    1.
a regular customer, member of a team, etc.
    "pub regulars"

I certainly fit the description of pub regular, true athlete that I am, as well as a regular member of the Pig

  • That's the fun of it

meaning is determined by the reader
you bring to it your own angels and demons
the voyeur imposes their own beliefs on the writer
    engaged ,aloof or indignant

great self selection for becoming a pirate

I personally go for movement of the bowel
    the basis of most humor
