Just a heads up I will only be doing a recovery ride on Sunday Approx 20 miles. Happy to have an normal 40 as well if someone wants to take that after 10 miles. Leave 09.30 as normal But feel free to make other arrangements Its BH weekend of course as well
Recovery ride for me also today after all dayer yesterday at the 10th Baldock Beer Festival. At least 10 hard intervals to flush out the system.
Today's ride on my non cyclist mate's boat drinking fizzy 'isotonic' beverages from St Neots to Brampton Mill and back to celebrate the Flying Dutchwoman's birthday. Proper sailing.
Not out tomorrow as on a training ride with the Flying Dutchwoman before her Ride The Night charity ride at the end of this month.
Out today to pick up car left yesterday at a wedding just outside Wendy. Hitchin Baldock Bygrave Ashwell Steeple Littlington Bassingbourn Meldreth Barrington Orwell Wendy. 28 miles, of which 24 were into a block headwind. Chilly.
Out with the Flying Dutchwoman today. Ashwell Eyeworth Sutton Potton Waresley Abbotsley Croxton Toseland Graveley Offord D'Arcy Gt Paxton Toseland Yelling Eltisley Gransdens Gamlingay Potton Sutton Eyeworth Ashwell. Chilly at the start into the northerly wind, but warmed up later when the sun broke through at last.
50 miles @ a very sedate 11mph, but the longest cycle ride for the Dutchwoman who's on track for her 100k night ride later this month. Plus, no need for me to have an excuse to be out on the bike all day......tandem looking a good idea for the future......!!

40 miles at a very sedate 11mph. Cold into the headwind going north, sun came out near Yelling and blown back in very pleasant spring sunshine.
Much better than riding through London at night!
FD & FD
40 miles at 15-16 mph
South easterly
Decide flat or hilly way back on the day
My vote for the flat way there and back.
Flat Dutchman
40 miles 15 to 16 mph
