cool - i will see how bad the rain is first thing and will drop a note to say if im still keen or not...its looking rather grim at the moment.

i could be tempted by getting off road and muddy. What sort of terrain is it - CX or MTB? that said my CX bike has 'gravel' tyres so might be useless in slippy mud.

I have a Sram mtb clutch rear mech which takes up all the slack in the chain with a force 1X chainring up front which has wide-narrow teeth to help retain the chain. The Sram mtb stuff is working well with my force shifters and is much cheaper than…

cool the condor bikes sound better than my fuji. I was surprised how bad they were at Herne Hill.

I have signed up with velodrome experience which consists of a half day session at herne hill. What is the deal with the bikes they have for hire? I have a SS that can be fixied up pretty easily.
