Should make it out for an hour or so. The 'long road back' begins...
-
Titanium is good for the lighthouse ride (Cap de Formentor). That road surface is past its 'best before' date...

John If we do climb from Bedoin then we'll probably have to back track at the top and then turn left at Chalet Reynard and then down to Sault. The climb from Malaucene is also pretty tough and is technically the true west to east route. Either one w…

If you are going to Puerto Pollenca or Alcudia (North coast near the mountains) then I've used these British guys: https://www.procyclehire.com/ Plenty of Carbon and Titanium options... I'd recommend cycle hire over take your own for Mallorca. You'…

I've just transferred the deposit and emailed the booking form. Thanks for the reminder, Robbie.

Will also come over for a beer. Let me know when you're getting near Ashwell...

Could also lend a battery extender and short cable for Garmin 705/800 if you think you'll need a single Garmin powered for more than 12 hours...

I've used InnerTubeShop.com tubes for nearly two years now. Quite a few miles. As good as any other. 10 for £18.99 (delivered) is pretty good.

I've got one Fenix PD32 torch with hbar mount if you want to borrow it. (Jane's got the other one). I use two of these lights for my overnight stuff. Also used them on the Dun Run with Will last year. Pretty good.

Also interested in Paris - Nice next September...
-
There's also entry only packages through people like CycloMundo, Sports Tours International, Ronan Pensec etc. Maybe it's worth speaking to these guys (now) if you want everybody booked together?
-
Interested in this. Would probably go out for a week, at least.
-
Getting there! Liking the photos.

This one's a bit more of a challenge and is £895 cheaper: http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/14-933/

Looking forward to seeing slightly more haggard expressions in tomorrow's picture.

You'll do fine, Alex

I think Tues evening will suit me better. Anybody else?
-
Have a good one. Third day looks tough. Save a bit...
-
OK, maybe I'll go on Sat afternoon with Luke, unless everybody could switch to Tues 9.00pm performance?

Should be there.

Everyone has now signed up and paid. Nice one.

Fantastic ride today. Some tricky hills, but also some pretty villages, lots of verdant beech woodland and carpets of bluebells. Quintessential Springtime England.
-
Enjoyed that but hard work. It was quite flat. I did finally get a rest up Barrington Hill, but that was about it. Agree that the Ramsey half-time refreshments were substantial.
-
Should be there.

Here's the route for the next Chilterns ride. As mentioned previously, this will include quite a few new roads for most people... It's 95 miles including a cafe stop after 43 miles in Goring and other stop in Marlow after 75 miles, if required. Just…

That's precisely what I did for our last excursion to the Chilterns: http://www.ccaforum.co.uk/comments.php?DiscussionID=3771&page=1#Item_20

I'm finalising a route over the next few days. Planning to start in Amersham (J18 M25): Start Location Route map to follow... The outline will be something like Amersham, Beaconsfield, Marlow, Streatley, Pangbourne (nr. Reading), Henley, Marlow, …

Apologies, Carmelo. I'm also doing Etape du Dales and won't be able to help this year.
