Well done all, Hadleigh is tuff!
-
I can only echo. Great job by all who helped, was a beautiful afternoon of racing. Thank you.
-
Now at 95% probability. Exciting!

Vampyres have signed on.

Good job CCA! Where are you both now in the overall standings? I had a little search but couldn't find anything.
-
I have a narrow window of opportunity in that I may be able to manipulate a trip to collect some horse stuff (don't ask) to happen on this day. Hence my need to do entry on the day, as I won't know if I can get there for sure until the day. Fingers…

OOh! Only two weeks away that! Entry on the line?
-
Lots of racing action this weekend CCA! Well done to all. It's leaving me feeling very itchy-fingered!

Jeremy, You are right that is exactly up my street, I love a good hilly. Sadly they all seem to happen all at once, like the buses. April 26th is Swindon Hilly, Little Mountain, Buxton Hilly and apparently this one which I didn't know about. I ha…

Oh my goodness, what amazing responses. I am a bit 'soft boiled' as my mum would say. Thank you all for the best wishes.

Yay!

Good job both! I note the RTTC Classic series now includes the Little Mountain 39 mile hilly. Are you both doing that? I have a bit of a history with this one - it's a great race! Hopefully see you there! Should be a good CCA turn out!

Serious features! Good job all!

I can't do the event so my contribution is purely theoretical but if you are selecting on performance, you shouldn't use people's 25 minute power as the yardstick. In a team trial it's people's one minute power and ability to recover that should be …

Top day thanks for the route Robbie, and thanks for sorting the weather too. Loved the Sundon double loop - a classics feel for sure. I have 108.7 miles with 5951 ft ascent Jane, but that includes 22 miles to and from Ashwell.

Sounds great, is this a 8am 3T departure? edit: Doh, just read the thread title
-
Have they started already! Gosh. Well done all! Short sleeves!
-
This is important! White bikes only fast if clean. Decking stays slow, clean or dirty.
-
Ah cool. White bikes faster than most bikes. But not red.
-
I agree. If not illegal then they should be. Gives you the perfect excuse to repaint the forks to match the frame

Put me down for the Full English as well Martin. Might be last club ride opp for me for a while as moving west end of March.

Pressures also depend on tyre volumes, so what's right for a 23 is dangerous for a 28. What tyres Mitchy? I'm similar to the others above (23mm tyres) but will go higher for road tubs in dry conditions, but perhaps as low as 80 in slippy slidey con…

Corsa CX. Avoid Continental tubs IMO, butyl inners.

Just as an update for those who aren't on the FB group, the entry deadline has been extended until Wednesday evening, and currently the entries are at around 80 for the pre-entry races. It seems likely that the event will go ahead, though this has n…

Delicious!

Some pics on the CCXL FB site - your bike does look like the eighth wonder Tim! Should have come to Ipswich we had none of this nonsense. https://www.facebook.com/CentralCXLeague/photos

So what's this other sport they say it clashes with? What kind of bikes are used?
-
All right! That's what I'm talking about!
