And let's not forget our very (nearly) own Dave Hadsley in a top half of field 28th place! Thanks for the write up Dave. Tough weather conditions made everyone who rode a champion, it was very very grim out there!
-
Lots of great support from CCA and Eastern League - many thanks to all, and a very special thanks to pit crew. Great event, and really good organisation, particularly considering that half the course had to be rebuilt on Saturday morning having been…
-
Add some glue and tubs and your kitchen will soon look like mine
-
You say that, but isn't that just an elaborate victory salute?* * feel safe making that joke knowing the rider walked away unhurt.
-
Looks like you might be lone ranger again. Don't take your best wheels! I'm in dire need of some rest after the cross season, so I won't be hitting road racing until March at the earliest.
-
These might seem picky but do they use the regular or the team edition ones Mark, do you know? Regular have synthetic casing, and TE have cotton casing.
-
Nice one Mark, I like the course at Bethlem. The Regionals there a few years back were one of the muddiest races ever! Proper trench warfare! Results up now, I guess the gantry stayed up? http://www.londonxleague.co.uk/2014/08/round-13-sun-4th-j…

Demolition Polak they call me. Ripping off tubs as we speak... Ace ride Jackie!
-
I did a couple but MTB isn't really my focus. Glad we have a senior at last, sad it's just for a year
-
Welcome Beny. What age group are you (not being rude hopefully) as we could most certainly do with someone racing the Seniors category.
-
Who's best placed to see you out of the usual suspects Tim? Mark?
-
I cleaned them AFTER the race Stuart
-
I have whispered you Tim.
-
Well done all. Dave, the two bike strategy is great, the difficulty is in getting your pit crew to turn up on subsequent events.
-
Well done all CCA. I was sad to miss Broome Heath this year, but having now seen Peel Park, not that sad I will do a write up by and by, but one word teaser - amazing!
-
Great day out. Found a few pics, no Travis or Sophie sadly.
-
Thanks Tim, I am not sure it's luck we need on Lazer corner. I am strapping cushions to various parts of my anatomy!
-
Good day out, proper cross at last. A word of caution though, should you be out and about and come across a large blue race support vehicle stuck in a muddy field, do not be tempted to help by pushing, as this will happen: The Doncaster Mud Bath.
-
Awesome.
-
Shelton just checking mate 700c wheels or 26''?
-
Good riding all, but special praise for Jackie! Nailing it!
-
First dibs please Shelton.
-
Thanks for the comments gents. MK is going to be massive! Stuart - the pics are there, maybe your browser needs updating?
-
Just saw this Geoff, thanks for the invite, I was so absorbed in my prep I hadn't even twigged you were near there. Next year!
-
The saucers might be civilised, but the La Vie Claire cups are something else again! Nice to see that sometimes, just sometimes, driving all the way up to Durham can get you better weather than staying local
-
No problem Dave. I am also at MK both days. Hester has volunteered to pit for me at MK, but as she will have a bubba with her I'm sure she would be grateful for a helping hand. Only if it fits with your other plans of course!
-
Currently I'm planning to be in Ipswich, so happy to do this Dave.
-
That's a great pic Mark. I'd laugh but I did something very similar at that point, involving foot in front wheel, rear wheel dropping out of drop-outs (is that why they're called that?) and riding next 6 laps with crazy wobbly front wheel and lots …
-
Brilliant result today Jackie! Well deserved!

I don't think we are in any kind of agreement. If you think we are, I suggest you read my post again. The take home should be that the Mens Journal article is thin on information and useless for working out what Zabriskie is actually doing.
