GT85 does make a great polish though. And makes your bike smell fresh
-
GT85 does smell good though. Wet lube for road use. Dry lubes for muddy rides only. I like the White Lightning stuff too.
-
Nice going lads, good write up too!
-
Oh and @ Tim - what is this walking you speak of?
-
Can't believe I have missed these developments. @ Stuart F - you need the extra stickiest stuff after what I saw at Bury! @Theo - PSI all the way buddy. Bars are for drunks. @Vittoria - tried your app and totally disagreed with both road and off-…

Awesome, well done Harley.
-
Great results all round! Well done the Fields. And Mark of course. Here's another cross for you die-hard crossers: http://cicleclassic.co.uk/thoresby-park-cross/ Just in case the gap between February and September is too long
-
Perfect, just need to make sure I get there early for the sign on then.
-
Oops, meant start times rather than performance times, but thanks for that update Martin. @Shelton - sadly the meal is not at my house, and I'd actually really rather not go, but am committed.

I missed out the muddy bits Shelton

For those of you who may have also lapsed, here is the Hail Mastik prayer reproduced in full. Hail Mastik, full of latex, the tubular is with thee, blessed art thou amongst adhesives, and blessed is the bond that you create, with wheel. Holy Mastik…

Thank you Jane.
-
Can I just not say three Hail Mastik's and be forgiven?
-
Hi Tim, just bringing this back - do I need to reach out to the organizer, or is there a more complicated method of the marshals getting appointed? Cheers, JP
-
I was actually going to ride a clincher alloy up front, as everybody said the course was so rough, but after driving around in the morning I made last minute swap to the deep section tub. They have not yet been glued up properly - this will happen s…
-
Psst.... There's a c******r on the back. And the front is only taped on. The horror. The horror.
-
I can do the 4th of May Tim. 22nd June I am away unfortunately, as I'd quite like to see what kind of a lunatic chooses to ride the 100
-
I agree, just clean off the gnarly bits with acetone and scotchbrite pad, otherwise the more glue the better as far as I am concerned. For a really dirty rim (such you'd get if you rolled your tub and rode for some distance in dirt on the rim) take …

I have it in my calendar. Is there a way to help AND ride?

There's a great write up on VeloUK - http://www.velouk.net/2014/01/26/reportresults-east-london-velo-234-race/ Some great pics there too...
-
We haven't as we have unresolved artistic differences over our team name
-
That's a real shame Tom. 6 months ago I would have been round like a shot. What are you going to go for in its place? Are you able to expand on the changes that you are making to your position?
-
Just reminder to all who want to race at Mistley, with the exception of the U12s who can enter on the day, all other entries must be on-line, and the closing date for that is February 3rd.
-
I had always intended to ride both Tim, but ended up with too many conflicts...
-
And yes it was a bit muddy...

National Champ. World Champ. You'd never have guessed you were in Welwyn.
