  • I rode an event free ride out to Brick Hill then on to the Clappers making it a windy 80m. This was the last of my Saturday rides as it's now time to go racing. So thanks for the company guys - chau..........
  • Good luck Phil. Not many riders will have been as focused as you over the last couple of months.
Top training mate. I'm sure it will all pay off!

Out this weekend. But back by 12ish.
  • what's your plan Robbie?
  • Probably... 60m ish in total.
Ashwell. Buckden. Chisell. Duxford. Harlton. Everton. Etc
More lumpy at the beginning. Plenty of turn offs for shorter rides.

    Back in Ashwell 12 latest.
  • perfect, is that an 08:00 start as usual?

    Back on the 69" gear.
After two consecutive 65-75m rides it now feels like an 81"!
    Might be hanging on tmw.
  • i'm back on my 12-25 and loving it, everytime the chain glides accross each different sized gear I smile at the wonder of modern technology :-)

    see you at 08:00
  • I've got some sort of lurgy so will be having a lie in - again!
  • Having a hot curry, couple of pints of vitamin G in the Bushell to ward off those little germs and get lighter legs.
    Might do the trick...
  • How's the Bushel curry? Sounds like a good precautionary strategy to me!
  • Thanks guys, really enjoyed that... Literally limped back to Baldock tho.... A couple of weeks off certainly takes it's toll!!!!!
  • Good ride. Good company.
Really enjoyed today's miles in and out the wind.
  • Saturday 10th....

    Earn those beers!
Thinking about a hilly one due to the CCA bash in the evening.

    Wallington
    Weston
    Whitwell
    Lilley
    Sundon*
    Hexton
    Henlow
    Langford

Plenty of turn-off for a shorter route.
    70m (with Sundon* 60m without).
  • i'm away this weekend :(
  • Robbie

Now it is cold I think some easier rides will suit me, so long easy spinning and flatish will see me through the next few months, may join the occasional one of these if the weather good.

My last few outings have all been 15mph average...
due to wind, leaves, the cold and MC slowing me down.

    : ))
  • Ride as we would in LEJOG tmw.
    Nice one.
  • Sorry Guys, have to switch to Sunday this weekend.

Hope to see you Sat night.

    Alistair
  • Good 60-68m ride. Varied with A roads whilst the ice cleared then the first half of the GD in reverse.
