Looking forward to seeing the blue train steaming down the Promenade d'Anglais tomorrow and hearing all the tales of heroism from the past week. You're going to like it here...not so much the race to the sun (you may have seen the best of the weather) but the sea is like a warm bath and the beer cold. Best of luck for the final day!
Gents, Good to bump into some of you briefly on the mean streets of Nice last night, hope you had a good night...
Thanks for a brilliant week- a truly epic adventure, that must have pushed most of us to our limits at points (or if it didn't, you didn't ride hard enough!). Great to get to know those of you I hadn't ridden with before; being probably the least experienced rider there, I felt like I learnt a lot from you all.
Just wanted to ask a massive favour from anyone in Ashwell who's able to help please? We're not flying back till late on Monday night- is there any chance anyone would be able to pick up my bike and bag with theirs, and hold on to it till Tuesday evening please..?
Good effort chaps congrats to you all. I dread to think what the non forum friendly photos were. Skelders/vince what on earth was going on in that photo?
Amazing trip guys. Thanks for all your support to a novice rider & especially when I was struggling (most days).. For all of you that I forgot to apologise to please accept them now. Thanks also to Martin and Jeremy for being great room mates :)
Looking forward to catching up and seeing the final edit video from Tim..
Respect to everyone on so many levels... That was really hard but such a great trip which will live long in the memory, I am so glad it worked out that I could make it,,thank you guys!
I am in the process of creating a facebook page for all our pics and videos. its a bit of a better interface than Martyn's website page... bare with, blind leading the blind here!
