Hi folks. Rollers n' turbo night again tonight. 8.30-9.30. Straight after Mark's session in the Ashwell URC hall near Three Tuns. Ice free intervals at your own intensity with loud music. All welcome.
-
Hi Chris. I think it best to drop Richard a line on whether OK to dive in on Wednesday, or do Saturday first. He might be fine knowing you're a CCA chaingang regular. He might want to see you prove yourself for a few laps before a thumbs up. He might…

What with the kit orders being picked up, on top of the Zwift demo, it was a bumper turnout for Club night. CCA filled the entire front section and it was nice to see and chat to everyone. Massive thanks to Mark F and Andrew R for all the gear, prep…

Bringing this to the top: club night. This Tuesday 6th sept. All welcome: members or not. All the usual banter and chance to talk with other riders... And Mark will do a little talk and Q&A on all things Cyclocross as well as the Eastern league…

Sorry, I should have put the routes up before now; Ashwell - Wells-next-the-Sea bikemap.net/en/route/1011050-ashwell-wells-next-the-sea/ Wells - King's Lynn bit. http://www.bikemap.net/en/route/1187762-wells-next-the-sea-kings-lynn/ I won't be…

Weather truly dreadful. Riding not safe. Sorry: am bailing out.
-
Hi Chris. If you have a clip on rear guard I'd stick it on. I don't mind if not. I'll still take your wheel!
-
Forecast improving all the time. But does warn of sharp sudden downpours. Reckon we'll be all right though. See ya in a bit.
-
Looks good there'll be a window of opportunity on the forecast. And besides: it's quite warm and low wind. I'll almost certainly ride, unless there's a massive storm and it gets dangerous.
-
Fingers crossed the weather ok for the chain gang. I'll be there unless it's dreadful weather. Usual last minute assessment. Will ride slowly to Cashwell from Steeple at 7.35pm in search of others.

I've luckily got a pass to ride the ToH Welwyn crit and have signed on for the 4th Cat at 12pm. This Sunday 17th. Dave W is there too on the start list. I've asked James McK for an early slot on the interclub in Guilden so I can finish and driv…

Inspiring stuff racing riders. I've got my eye on the Mid Suffolk 3/4 race, if anyone has any knowledge or recommendations of it. Sun 14th Aug this year. https://britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/138649/Mid-Suffolk-Road-Race I wonder if Ash Cox …

Bring yer balm Vince and race the 4th Cat. Your sprinting might be the difference... Full range of kid's races too. Weather forecast good so far for a family picnic/day out. C'mon CCA... This Sunday 10th July.

Hi Andy_R: I have booked a twin room in Calais for you and your brother in the Hotel Meurice, Thurs 22nd Sept, for the ride over. You and your brother have to book your own ferry. See earlier in this discussion for details and how. It's dead easy.
-
Let's stick to the original Chain route. Neutral 200m or so: no bother. See ya in a bit.
-
Remember folks: it's old-skool tonight. No village hall available, so it'll be all arranged out of the back of car. Or... why not take it into the pub before/after? After all, it's a certain JMac shaped birthday today I believe... Cheers
-
Well done everyone. Just a quick note: Cleatwatch... I counted 7 offenders wearing cleats in the village hall. A reminder: the parish council have made a special request that we remove cleats on the parquet floor. Thank you!
-
Good plan Vince. If numbers low: stick as one group and let the strongest riders do more turns. Me, Robbie and James D hoping to be there. Tim D will if he can. Weather forecast good. Sunset 8.52pm. 3 laps? Lights always a good idea.

Great fun in lovely weather. A bit sketchy on the corner. Last Man Standing is a good race. Sam is flying!

Yeh. We will get used to it. And I'll look to make it more familiar too. Working out things on the go here... 'Whispers' are now replaced by an Inbox at the top of the forum. Works like an email account. Neatly: you can whisper multiple people and…

Yes. We're back. The new forum should be a bit more 2016: secure, responsive, cleverer. Little things I've already noted like my password is now case-sensitive in case you're having trouble signing in.

Conditions probably way trickier off-road than on-road this slippy-slidey a bit above zero morning. But great for keeping warm and nice to link a few bridleways together. Great bike handling practice. We bumped into Ian from St Neots CC in the middle…

Great night. Thanks especially to mark W and Richard for their sessions. Great start to 2016.

Hi Andy I've set Hard Track up as a category - see how it goes. It may be worth considering setting up a closed Facebook group for those interested - if the amount of content and dynamic nature of communication goes the way you hint at. Like the Club…
